Functional Agreement Shortlist 2016

On Saturday afternoon March the 5^th, it took place the shortlist of the Purebred Menorca Horses. Those are going to participate in the Agreement of Functional Training organised by the Breeders and Owners Association of Menorca Horses during this year 2016 in the facilities of the Club Hípic Ciutadella.

A total of 8 horses of the 15 presented were selected for their quality, right training and sporting level to continue their training during the 2016 by the olimpic rider Jordi Domingo Coll.

The horses and their riders gained acces to the arena in groups of three. They showed their habilities  to the prestigious Catalan rider, assisting to his demands during the development of the different exercises in accordance with the age of the horse. Jordi Domingo took information of the horses and their riders. A report for each pairing has been made emphasising positive characteristics and needs in order to improve the exercises in the competition arena.

During the next weeks the practical training sessions for the selected pairings will start. It is estimated a total of five sessions during the year.
