RANKING BEST MENORCA HORSE 2021

 

According to the data provided by the Delegation in Menorca of the Balearic Islands Equine Federation, the Association of Breeders and Owners of the Purebred Menorca Horses published, once more, the Ranking of the Best Purebred Menorca Horse for each of the equestrian disciplines. The aim of this classification is to strengthen the sportive use of the Purebred Menorca Horse, its training and selection in order to improve the functional capacity, as well as recognising the task done by the pairings in the arenas.

For the Classic Dressage and Menorca Dressage disciplines:

• The classification obtained in all the competitions of the animals with a minimum score of the 60%. It is compulsory to have participated 5 times during the year for each of the disciplines. The participations with a lower score of 60% will not be taken into account for the ranking calculation neither for the re-counting of participations.
• The final classification will be done giving punctuation to the participations, based on the quadrant published in our website. It is taken into account the classification obtained in the competitions that exceed the previous requisites and dividing between the numbers of total participations.

CLASSIC DRESSAGE

For the Jumping discipline:

• The total score of the Purebred Menorca Horses are calculated according to the quadrant published in our website. It is divided among the total number of participations in official jumping contests celebrated in Menorca. It is required to have taken part at least in 5 contests during the current year. Only the participations with a maximum penalisation of 12 points have been taken into account to calculate this classification. Moreover, the participations in categories with less than three competitors that have not been eliminated, with a penalisation over 12 points and/or in the ones that the animals have been eliminated, do no compute for the calculation of the total score neither for the total re-counting of the participations. And in case an animal has participated more than once at the same competition, it will only compute the participation with the best score both for the calculation of participations and for the calculation of the total score of the animal.

 

*The Horse Jumping Ranking has been declared null and void because no Purebred Menorca specimen met the requirements.
