During the days between the 12th and the 24th of April it took place the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour (MET) 2016 in the facilities of Oliva Nova in Valencia. It consisted of two classical dressage international competitions ***. Some Menorcan horses and riders participated and got great results.
It stands out the pairing formed by the rider from Alaior Antonio Seguí Sintes and the Purebred Menorca horse Blade YCR, that competed in the category of 5 years old. It is the first time a Purebred Menorca Horse takes part in an international classical dressage competition judged only by international category judges. Besides, it run with international prestigious horse breeds such as Hanoverians, Westfalians, etc. selected from a long time ago because of their achievement in this discipline.
The pairing got their best average score on the opening participation of this competition. In addition, it was the first time the horse joined in a contest away from Menorca. In this initial event the couple final score was of 68,400% so they obtained the 6th position.
The Breeders and Owners Association of Menorca Horses wants to congratulate the pairing because of their great results and thanks the owner of the horse his interest on promoting the breed speaking of competition.
