Between the days 23rd and 27th of September the Dressage Spanish Championship of Young Horses and the Final of the Young Horses Selection Event (PSCJ) took place in the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Foundation facilities. A Menorcan pairing competed in this last discipline.
The Rider from Ferreries Jordi Triay took part in the category of 4 years with Bon Somni GSM, from Son Martorellet Stock breeding. He won the third place on the category of Preliminary 4 Years of the Pre-competition celebrated on the 22nd. It got 70,600 points. It was the first national breed horse officially classified in this category. On the 24th, they got 72,800 points on the Preliminary 4 Years Event and won the 16th position of 50 horses participating in this category. So, they got classified for the Final Event of the Spain Championship. In this last competition the pairing yield 69,800 points and got the 17th position of the participation on the Saturday 26th and also of the Spanish Championship of Young Horses. So, because of those participations the horse was valued as Excellent on the Final of the PSCJ, with an average points of 71,300.
The Breeders and Owners Association of Menorca Horses, that attended the event, wants to congratulate the rider and the horse for their favourable results. It also wants to thank the owners of the animal for their interest in promoting the Menorcan Breed at sportive level. Moreover, the Association wants to highlight that the trip of the horse will be partially subsidised by the Consell Insular de Menorca through the grants for promoting the Equine Sector in the island.
