The Association of Breeders and Owners of the Menorca Purebred Horse spreades the Breeding Stock Catalogue with genetic category of the breed of 2019, within the Breeding Program and the Breeding Program Dissemination. The catalogue includes for the first time the selection line for the Functional Conformation and Basic Movements, besides the traditional Dressage and Menorcan Dressage.
This new selection line has given room to obtain, for the first time, the genetic category of Elite Stud for a specimen of the breed. The stallion Nonte, after getting the genetic categories of Enhancer Breeding Stock for Menorcan Dressage and for Functional Conformation and Basic Movements, has been recognised in 2019 with the maximum genetic category within the Enhancer Breeding Stock, after standing out for its descendants merits in several selection lines.
