At the request of several members and people related to the equestrian sector, the Breeders and Owners Association of Menorca Horse has been working with the Consell Insular de Menorca for several months in the review of the different stages of the Camí de Cavalls in order to ensure its adaptation to facilitate the movement of the equines and the use of the complete road.
To this end, review works have been carried out on the different stages, detected deficiencies have been notified and different stages have been visited with the responsible of the Menorcan institution, such as Cala Pilar (which belong to the stage 7: Els Alocs-Algaiarens), last week.
Besides, the contacts with the responsible of the General Management of the Coast and the Sea, dependent on the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge are expected to be started shortly, in order to continue with the review of the stages and deficiencies that depend directly of this national administration.

Future work meetings are expected in the next months to address the improvement in the accesses and parking areas of the Camí de Cavalls, which will allow their use by the horses all around the island.
